WARNING DO NOT USE MILO'S KITCHEN DOG TREATS!

I want to post a warning about MILO'S KITCHEN CHICKEN MEATBALLS DOG TREATS. A week ago I gave my dog one and she turned to go over and lay in her bed to enjoy it, as she always does. All of a sudden she come trotting over to me faintly whining and looking like she was choking and couldn't breathe. I grabbed her and hit her on the back and it popped out. These are much to small and easily get caught in a dog's windpipe. If I had gave her a treat and left, as I sometimes do, she probably would have been dead when I got home.

I just read another account of the same thing happening to another pet; "I never even gave it a thought when I bought these, but a treat that's round like a golf ball is a dangerous thing for a little windpipe. My dog tried to swallow it whole and choked. She lost all breathing capability, tried to puke with no luck, staggered around and then fell over. My family and I were terrified. I grabbed her and not knowing what to do, faced her away from me, and did the Heimlich maneuver on her. Nothing happened. I tried again and she yelped. It took her a little while to get back to normal, but she did."

And then there is this; "Only a few of their products are made in the USA. The rest is made in China. Their chicken comes from China and there is a lot of dog deaths linked to treats made with Chinese chicken. But it gets worse. The meatball products contain onion and garlic; known toxins to dogs."
I am a big label reader, but was under the impression that Milo's Kitchen used ingredients that were safe, and I thought it was a US company.
Make sure you read the labels on Dog Food and Treats, no one wants their babies to get sick.

If you want to make sure that you are giving your dog something that is good for them, do what I do. I buy a bag of peeled baby carrots. She loves those as a treat and they are only $.99 a bag, and I have no worries that there is anything that will harm her in her treat. Princess Leia also loves cauliflower, if I have some on hand I give her a small piece, or a carrot for good deeds.

This is what the bag looks like. But please remember ALL of the products by this company have ingredients in them that are toxic to dogs!!
